Welcome to Structural Systems Limited, the Caribbean’s leading provider of prefabricated steel buildings and metal products. For more than 35 years, Structural Systems Limited has been the trusted single-source supplier of durable, high quality steel structures and metal products for commercial, industrial, residential, and agricultural construction throughout the Caribbean region. The company is comprised of two major divisions: Buildings Division, Metal Products Division. “To provide the highest quality metal products and services to anyone, anywhere.” Structural Systems Limited began production in 1975 with a mandate from its founders to provide customers throughout the Caribbean with custom designed, high quality, hurricane-resistant solutions to their metal building needs at reasonable prices. Since then, our company has shipped prefabricated buildings and components to almost every Caribbean country, where these products have become legendary for their quality and ease of erection. A strong belief in the importance of continuous investment, in our staff and our equipment, has served to keep Structural Systems Limited at the leading edge of the Caribbean’s steel industry. Plant Process Our sophisticated state-of-the-art plant is located in Barbados, one of the central transport hubs of the Caribbean. Encompassing over 80,000 sq. ft., the highly automated factory is capable of producing 5,000 tonnes of steel per year. At the heart of the plant is a CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing) production process, which maximises our construction capacity while delivering the highest standards of quality control demanded in the fabrication of steel buildings. Once “built” onscreen and approved, the CAD plans are downloaded directly into our CAM machinery, ensuring accuracy and consistency from the minute details to unlimited proportions. We have over 30 years of experience pre-fabricating and installing metal buildings in Barbados and acrosse t he Caribbean. Our professional teams combines an expert knowledge of structural design with a local understanding of the unique challenges structures in this region face.
